Gillian Gibbons' teddy bear storm

A Scottish colleague of mine here one day asked me to comment on Gillian Gibbons' teddy bear issue, which I did. In the first place it would not have been an issue had both parties showed respect to the sensitivity of each other's different religious cultures. Perhaps this is why more programmes for Inter-Religious Dialogue between East and West should be conducted.
